Who is Ogamars Entertainment?

Ogamars Entertainment is a Gospel-based record label and talent management company. We exist for the sole aim of expanding God’s Kingdom using media & entertainment as a tool. We discover, nurture & promote talents. Our services include but are not limited to, Artist Management, Public Relations, Events, Music Production, Media Services, Marketing & Promotions. 

Our deepest purpose is to be the world’s number one producer of entertainment and education by empowering Gospel creators and surpassing the expectations of our audience.

How did it all start it? 

It started first of all as a result of my love for God and secondly because of my love for music. I was previously committed to creating secular music but didn’t feel fulfilled. You see, you can’t be truly at peace if you’re trying to live outside God’s purpose for your life. So music/media was my gifts, and what better way to serve God, than through those gifts he has given me.

Again, I started the label because of the need to give Gospel artistes a voice in the music industry. You will agree with me that Gospel artists have little or no platform to showcase their talents. The supports they need to flourish in their career is not there compared to what is obtainable with secular artists. From good producers to DJs, promoters, artist managers, record labels, AOPs, video directors, awards and events organizers and every needed structure to do well in music, the Gospel minister seems to be marginalized. This is why you see most of them though starting from the choir in church end up doing secular music.

So instead of joining others to whine and complain about it, I knew someone had to start recreating the same structures for Gospel Ministers. Some Gospel record labels like Eezee Concepts are already doing their best but they are still few compared to the number of Gospel artist out there. This is kingdom work and we need more hands. The harvest is plenty, but the labourers are few. ‎Matthew 9:36.

Who is behind Ogamars Entertainment?

There are many of us behind Ogamars Entertainment, I am just the pioneer and the director. We also have partners who stand strongly behind the brand; Assemblies of God Church, DanwazieGoldfinger, Mild Waves Media, Zisona Tunes, Koboplay.com, BrandDigitalTv and of course, Gospel Explore.

However, I’ll drop a mini-bio to answer this question properly. I (Agbawodikeizu, Emeka Mars) am a Nigerian born producer, songwriter, recording artist, poet, creative entrepreneur and social advocate. I am a Christian and I love God. I, with our partners, artists and fans are the brains behind this movement.

How does Ogamars entertainment use this platform to propagate the Gospel?

Like I said earlier, we exist to promote the Gospel through media and entertainment. We do this through the promotion of meaningful content; Contents that have both aesthetic and utilitarian values. Contents that educate as well as entertain. Not just that, we put JESUS at the centre of our work.

Our artists show Christ-like character and are role models to the young generation out there. There are many testimonies of how their ministrations had blessed lives and reconnected people to their God. You will agree with me that there are so much immoral contents out there and to correct that, we substitute it with works that promote godliness and righteousness.

We have Emeka Mars, Astra Nwachukwu, Wisdom John, Bliss, Pascal Samuel, Winnie Tego and fast-rising comedians like The Ambassador, and Fresh Grace

What’s your next project in the Label?

We dropped some couple of singles in 2019 and we’ll drop many more this 2020 and cap it up with Astra Nwachukwu’s Album. We have at hand an AG All-stars mixtape project dropping in March. It is a collection of singles from over eleven Gospel ministers, including those not in our label. Then we have a state-wide concert to follow in August and other many other things.
