Every Situation Is Under God’s Control – Finding Peace and Hope.
Bible Reference: Ezekiel 37:1–14
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. There are moments when we feel empty, weak, and completely out of control. It may seem as though the world is collapsing around us. But here is the truth: every situation is under God’s control.
Even the life we live is not our own; it belongs to God. That is why when we face hopelessness, confusion, or despair, we must remember that Jesus Christ is our only true source of strength and redemption.
As the Scripture says:
“They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.” (Psalm 34:5)
When Life Feels Out of Control, God Is Still in Charge
Our emptiness and struggles are reminders of our human limitations. But they also point us to a limitless God—the One who owns all things, both visible and invisible.
“Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine; the soul who sins shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:4)
When we surrender our weakness and limited power to God, He gives us victory over every situation.
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
Do Not Trust in the Arm of Flesh—Trust God Alone
When life gets tense and problems seem unending, don’t rely on human strength. The Bible makes it clear that the arm of flesh will fail. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus Christ, the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
The prophet Ezekiel understood this truth. When God asked him, “Can these bones live?” he replied:
“O Lord God, You know.” (Ezekiel 37:3)
This shows us that when circumstances seem hopeless, we must turn them back to God.
The Power of Prophecy: Speaking Life Into Dead Situations
God then commanded Ezekiel to prophesy:
“Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!” (Ezekiel 37:4)
No matter how hopeless your situation looks today, God’s Word can bring life back to your dry bones.
Declare this over yourself:
“My dry bones shall rise again in Jesus’ name!”
Because it is written:
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
And again:
“Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 1:8)
Final Encouragement: God Is in Control of Your Life
No matter what you are facing—financial challenges, health battles, emotional struggles, or spiritual dryness—remember that God is in control.
- He has the power to turn hopelessness into hope.
- He can transform emptiness into fullness.
- He can raise every dead situation back to life.
Therefore, cheer up, stay strong in faith, and believe that your victory is assured in Jesus Christ.
